I have an input file(.inp) of EpaNet project. I want to use this .inp file to run the project with the help of epanet2.dll from my arcmap addin button. In EPANET project , there is a portion that is running hydraulic simulation. This hydraulic simulation run by calling or method of epanet2.dll . When running hydraulic simulation , a temporary binary file(HYD) may be created. When I run the simulation in a console application of c# project , this is run successfully. But when I call the running method from a simple addin button application(show message “hello world”) of ArcMap, an error gives from running method (ENsolveH/ENepanet) . This error gives a code of 305 that indicate “Cannot open hydraulics file” according to documenteation.http://iridia.ulb.ac.be/~manuel/doc/toolkit_help.pdf Can you give some suggestions that how to recover the problem or why I am facing this kind of problem. Why hydraulic file can not be created and opened ? I am having a trouble of encoding at writing shape file by maptools (0.8-34) of R by MacOSX and reading that by ArcMAP 10.2.1 in windows 8.1 through parallels desktop. Using an original shape file, I wrote an edited file by writeLinesShape as follows: After this, I try to read “edit.shp” with Arcmap but cannot read Japanese strings properly in “dbf” file, which I could read in the original file. (Of course I did some edit before writing “edit.shp” but I have the trouble even in this simplest code.) Is there any way to solve this problem? I suspect that maptools is not writing utf-8 file because ArcMAP is able to read utf-8. I have about 8,000 addresses to geocode in South Africa. I haven’t been able to find an address locator in ArcMap that works (trying to use the ‘world places’ address locator in ArcMap 10 gives me a “resource is not available, regardless of authorization” message. In the past, I was using an online batch geocode tool from mapdevelopers, however this is limited to 100 records at a time. I need to run kriging in a model, using 5 diferent point shapefiles. I put as input %Name% to run the different shapefiles, but in Z value field I have an error, because it’s different in each shapefile. So, how do I run kringing through various shapefiles that have different Z value fields? I want 5 output rasters. I’m doing this: I am facing the issue while I am trying to get all the features back in ‘Attribute Table’. What I am doing is. I’m looking for a way to extract some data. My university wants the maps we create to become more standardized and so we’re changing all the colors on our base vector map. The new standard needs to be indexed and I have the task of creating the spreadsheet/document that will help us in the future. The question is, how does one extract this information. There are close to 100 layers that I need to index with the layer name, fill color (rgb values), border color, and border width. Obviously that’s for polygons but this is something that I need to figure out. I have only recently started learning arcpy so I was hoping there would be a clickology method I could follow and if not, what I should be looking for in an arcpy script. I have an addin toolbar (arcmap 10.3 in C#) for a certain type of analysis for our clients. We want to restrict the availability of the addin to a mxd file. We do not want other COM or Addins to be able to ‘enable’ it. I have two satellite imagery with same projection system i.e. QND_1995_Qatara_National_Grid as Spatial Reference and D_QND_1995 as Datum. After receiving the B Satellite Image , I converted it to QND1995 Projection system , but it still does not matches and also tried vice versa , but still i could see a shift of 5-10m.
