Map and GIS data competitions are a great way to promote geospatial work and receive industry recognition. Geospatial competitions range from both paper and digital map contests as well as contests designed to showcase the potential of different types of spatial data. ArcGIS StoryMapper of the Year Contest
Participants are invited to submit their ArcGIS StoryMaps along with an explanation of how they would use $5,000 to help out their own community as the top prize will be directly donated to the winner’s chosen “partnership with a local entity, school, or nonprofit organization.” The winner of the contest will also receive one Esri Technical Certification exam voucher (valued at $250) and one ArcGIS for Personal Use license (valued at $100).
