We’re very happy to announce the initial PDF export support for MindMup. This will start addressing one of the key gaps we had so far – pretty printing. Although users could export an image and print it, bitmap images do not scale nicely for large resolutions. By introducing PDF export, MindMup now produces scalable vector maps which can be printed nicely on everything from small cards to huge posters. To export your map, select File->,Export Map->,PDF and then select your required paper size and orientation. This is work in progress and we’ll be extending it with new capabilities over the next few weeks, but it is already good enough for basic use. We’d love your feedback and ideas on how to improve it, in particular if you spot something that does not work as you expect. Please The PDF support works by uploading maps to our servers – and at the moment we’re using the public anonymous MindMup storage for that. This has two important limits: So in short, please don’t try to export any maps that contain sensitive information for now. We are working on an alternative that will use MindMup Gold storage for upload, which means that you will soon be able to convert larger maps and do that securely. Source.
