We recently released Geographic Imager 5.0 for Adobe Photoshop Creative Cloud 2015! Have you upgraded yet? If not, go to I have exported a geoPDF with geologic lines, areas, topo base map and other layers. When I view my location with the app it is off by a few miles. Now, the shapefiles and basemap are in different coordinate systems, so that might have something to do with it. Does PDF Maps prefer a certain spatial reference? I noticed when I only export the lines, or the topo that the accuracy has improved, only being off by about 1500 feet. Could it possibly be something to do with my phone? The GPS location is turned on, I also have WiFi on and a full signal with 3G. Any help would be appreciated. You mentioned you are using MAPublisher. Would it be possible to send us your AI file so we could take a closer look at it? ( Also, what projection did you use for your GeoSpatial PDF? PDF Maps is compatible with all projections supported by GDAL. GDAL projections are implemented on top of the PROJ.4 library. ( Please send us your file so we can take a closer look at it but in the meantime, you could also try a different map in PDF Maps to confirm that the problem is not related to your phone. The complete details are in the attached screenshot but the projection is UTM NAD 27 Zone 17N. I have tried another one of our maps that works fine, and a topo map from the USGS National Map Viewer website of the same area to compare. Those seem to be accurate. Edit: It’s still off when exporting from ArcMap as a geoPDF, but when I tried exporting as a geoTIFF it seems to work fine. You stated ‘It’s still off when exporting from ArcMap as a geoPDF, but when I tried exporting as a geoTIFF it seems to work fine. ‘ Also, as part of your work-flow, are you exporting from ArcMap and then importing into MAPublisher? Furthermore, when you say ‘it seems to work fine’ are you saying that your original problem/issue is solved if you use a GeoTIFF as opposed to a GeospatialPDF ? I’m exporting everything from ArcMap. I’m importing the data directly into MAPublisher. Yes the original issue is fixed when I use a GeoTIFF , but not as a PDF. Source.
