This may be a dumb question and I’ll take the snickers and rolling of the eyes but being a new comer to Max I feel I’ll ask it anywho. If I have a piece of clothing ( Lets say a tee shirt) and its been imported with its texture map, can I modify that map, meaning, are there any tools (paint) that will let me freehand, say, a stripe on a sleeve or perhaps a wide different color bottom hem….? Or, do I have to do it by going the UVMapper way and export a new texture map and work with it in PhoShop or Corel and then apply it to the clothing? I’ve been spending most of my time learning how to modify and create meshes and the Material editor hasn’t been used as much, but it is really quite a powerful one. Appreciate any input on this. Not a stupid question at all… I actually forgot all about the tool that Justin mentioned. It is new in 2011 (I think it was 2011.) Thank You both. Unfortunately I have the 2010 version. Hope that maybe they may have something similar. A good day to you both. Peace. gk All rights reserved.
