I would like to export a final Map with both grid and shape-Data to a File. Printing with acrobat pdf writer made saga crash. Printing to a file somehow didn’t work (with windows). Best thing would be, if Files were exportable either as inkscape or as scribus-Files, including grid and vector elements so that the user is able to modify the maps… …And the svg-File I saved with ‘save interactive svg file’ cannot be opened by inkscape (a standard opensource svg program) Hi Christopher, I am using SAGA 2.0.3 on XP Pro and pdf export works without problem. I am using PDF Creator as pdf printer: https://sourceforge.net/projects/pdfcreator/ My method is to select map, then menu Map/Show Print Layout, then select format, scale etc., finally choose Map-Layout/Print preview, check the map, if is it good for you and then press Print. BUT: My shape-layers are are converted to rasterfiles when exportet to. So they hava a very poor imagequality which is not really good enough to be printed… …And the svg-File I saved with ‘save interactive svg file’ cannot be opened by inkscape (a standard opensource svg program) I do not have this problem. I currently have a map with grid and vector contour map. When saving only the contour layer as interactive svg, I get one svg file and plenty of js files (which I usually delete). When saving whole map, I get the svg, js and jpeg image (the grid). Both svg files I am able to edit in Inkscape (0.46) although there is an overlay blue semitransparent object (which I also deleted). But this svg file does not contain legend. As you noticed the problem with pdf export – did you try export to other format via pdf creator or choosing bigger paper format? Source.
