Adobe Illustrator Intermediate Course | GTS Computer Help

With the basics of the Introduction-level course out of the way, this course builds on those concepts. Students will also learn how to blend vector images from Illustrator with bitmap images from Photoshop to produce seamless images with the benefits of both approaches. Adobe Illustrator is a vector-based image program, designed for editing high-quality design images like logos and diagrams. It is part of the Adobe Creative Suite and as such it’s the companion program to Adobe Photoshop. If you’re a Photoshop guru and are looking to expand the range of your design skills, this is the program to consider. The introductory course will begin by orienting you to the Illustrator environment. You will then learn how to create basic illustrations with some of the simpler tools and edit them with the palettes. The Intermediate course continues on from the introductory course, and takes a more in-depth look at Illustrator's capabilities and how to apply them. CS is the abbreviation for Creative Suite. Each student receives a course reference book with notes on the topics covered, including exercises and examples. Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to use Illustrator to create complex illustrations, format illustrations and type, and prepare documents for print and web.
