Boredom Creek: Tutorial: Inkpad Freehand Tool

Thank you so much for putting this together, my friend. You made it look so easy :D It'll be very useful to me. Thank you! Inkpad is a vector-style drawing app developed for iPad/iPhone. Vector-style drawing is different from the other conventional drawing apps such as Brushes, Artstudio, etc. With the vector pen or freehand tool of Inkpad, every stroke will always come out as a shape (2-D shape?). Even though, the result of a stroke appears to be like a thin stroke, it is actually a shape consisting of one continuous line, either curved or straight, connected to various points (anchor points). So, drawing with Inkpad is like creating a collage of colorful shapes. 1. First change the width of the Stroke to 1.5pt and set the Stroke color to black. First tap once on the Free Hand Tool icon (left) and then tap on the Stroke option (bottom). See the picture below. 3. Let's draw a shape, the top line of a human eye. See the figure below and look at the top object as the reference. Tap on the canvas and without lifting your finger (or stylus), swipe your finger to the right and then swipe back to the left. You will see a shape appearing as soon as you lift your finger from the canvas. Congratulations! You just created your first shape with Inkpad. 4. Now let's look at the figure below again. Let's draw the next object, i.e. an eye shape object, an object with black outline stroke and white fill color. Tap on the Fill option and use the slider bar to change the color to white. You have to experiment a bit here on how to change the color to white. 5. Once you have changed the fill color to white, tap on the canvas and again, without lifting your finger, swipe to the right and then swipe down to the left again. Thank you so much for putting this together, my friend. You made it look so easy :D It'll be very useful to me. Thank you! Source.
