Now we get to do what humans do! thanks, but I seem to have a problem with Blender 'closing' any open loops when imported into Blender (in ai format from Corel Draw)...is this expected behavior? About exporting the UV map from Blender, I think that the only thing you can do is export the UV map to an image, but if there's a script that does this (export the UV map to vector graphics), then... my mistake!!! i decided to keep the iv map as an image, then jsut ourline it in coreldraw with a grid. now i have mesh fill. then save import into photoshop for final adjustments, viola (talke about intense texturing lol) Source.
