Create mirroring ‘parallel’ lines – Corel: DRAW – Tek-Tips

Hey all, I use CorelDraw Version 9 to generate site maps for our consulting company. Is there a way to draw two lines at once, or a way to adjust the curves/nodes of two lines at the same time. The idea is that as the lines would curve, the inner line would adjust proportionately. I would like to use it to draw sidewalks around city blocks and things of that sort. Thanks for any light you can shed. The best way I have found to do this is to use the freehand or bezier line tool to draw a single line, and modify the weight to suit width of the 'path' required. Once happy with the shape of the line, use arrange, convert outline to object. You should note that the original single line remains under the new shape, so it can be reassigned a weight, have the shape modified, and then be reconverted to an object.
