I had initially considered in-person coaching however due to work commitments online coaching was more convenient. I am thanful for the greater awareness that I gained about my voice, posture and presentation. Dr. Miller helped me to incorporate a plan of action that I can use in my everyday life.’ ‘Your Refresher Course in vocal control and your professional advice have been invaluable. Thank you for helping me re-focus on my technique, I can’t afford to leave home without it!’ ‘I just left a meeting where I spent the last 3 hours briefing a group of senior executives. Thanks to you, the meeting was extremely successful and I was able to communicate highly technical issues in easily understood terms. Over the past few years your guidance, coaching and insight have helped me fine-tune my communication skills for a gamut of issues, from guidance when faced with difficult work and employee encounters to preparing for job interviews to coaching tips on presentations to large audiences. Thanks for listening, for laughing, for sharing the wisdom of your experience, for pushing me with really tough questions, and for teaching me how to excel.’ ‘Thank you for helping me to prepare for our first National Magnet Conference at Georgetown University Hospital. I benefited from your tips on emceeing events, incorporating the theme into my presentation and overall presentation skills. My confidence soared as the spokesperson for this event, as well as a speaker. If I hadn’t done this session prior to the event, I would not have felt as confident as I did. The post evaluations for my presentation and the event were excellent. Thank you so much.’ ‘Dr. Miller is a gifted voice trainer, one who pays attention not only to the sounds of the voice, but to the emotions behind it. She knew immediately that I was having difficulties as a result of Spasmodic Dysphonia, and helped me to move through the different phases of treatment for that disorder. In addition, she helped me to strengthen my delivery, by pointing out my physical posture when speaking, the use of my hands and arms in presentation, and the way I hold my head. I’m so grateful to have Dr. Miller as part of my healing and coaching team.’ ‘Dear Dr. Miller, It has been one week since WATCH grand rounds and Workshop and the compliments continue to roll in.
