For the last 3 years, I have been making figures in Grapher 6. I was then exporting them as EMF files to work on them in Corel Draw. I updated grapher to grapher 8 last week and for some reason, I can't do this anymore. The EMF file does not open correctly in Corel Draw. Most of the elements are misplaced. This is not a problem with Corel since I tried to open EMF files created with Grapher 6 and it works fine. It tried to use WMF instead but it does not create elements that I can modify in Corel. I noticed that there are new options in the export menu. Is it something that can affect how the files are open with other softwares? Thank you for submitting your question to the Grapher Forum. I tested the EMF export from Grapher 8 in Corel Draw and I can reproduce this issue. I have forwarded my example to our programming team for further review. Actually, a newer version of Corel (CorelDraw X5) loads the EMF correctly. Other programs also load the EMF correctly. So, I believe the problem may be related to how Corel is importing the file. I did a quick Google search on EMF import in Corel and found several other problems on various forums and help sites. Drew is using CorelDraw 9 and experienced the same problem you sent. However, the problem does not appear in X5. It could be the version of Corel you are using. You might contact them for additional information. Thank you for your quick answer, Sabrina. I am using Corel Draw 12 but I have access to a computer with Corel Draw X4 so I will try with that version. Source.
