OpenLayers Google Maps Projection Problem w/ KML | Development Tools & Services

I've been browsing different forums & sites, including OpenLayers.org, to solve my issue. I've done searches on a combination of the following: openlayers, google map projections, and spherical mercator... but I have not found a solution. Problem: The KML data from a web service call (func setDataSource) is shifting as I zoom in and out of the map. My guess is that the projections in my code are wrong or perhaps wrongly placed. I don't have any background on map projections so it is difficult to digest mapping terminology online :-(. Can someone help? I've been browsing different forums & sites, including OpenLayers.org, to solve my issue. I've done searches on a combination of the following: openlayers, google map projections, and spherical I am trying to write a JavaScript to read information out of a table and put markers on a map, depending on the data(Coordinates are hidden in that table). For each row there will be a marker on the map. I'm currently working on a project which maps items to a physical location within a building. We have a map created in our GIS system (ArcGIS), and are able to resolve items to the appropriate shape ID on this map. I have this layer with Google Maps: (note the generateAPIKey() function inside the getTileUrl function) When i'm implementing this with a Google map, I have a strange bug: the mouse pointer and the dot on the map are not in the same place. I have a website where we currently edit MultiPolygonFields in the Django admin using GoogleMaps V2 rather than the default OSM Open Street Maps layer. V2 is getting shut down soon in May 2013 and there is as of yet no update in admin.contrib.gis for V3. But I'm happy to use Open I am working with google maps api 10 for some time now and there is a bug that i just cant fix because im 99.9% sure its within googles library. I do a lot of Projection .toPixels() to draw stuff and all works fine. I zoom with custom zoom methods mapController.setZ I'm trying to do an overlay on Google Maps. I have generated tiles of my image using maptiler, but the example generated by maptiler is in v2 and i want to use v3. The example generated by maptiler is also very complex and does some unnecessary opacity stuff. Now v3 of GM has changed a lot since I have created a custom Google Maps projection using the Google Maps Javascript API V2. It looks like this, as per the API specification: Source.
