Advanced Vector GIS, Python Programming, Environmental Modeling for Sustainable Futures, Theory of Urban Planning, Advanced Raster GIS, Geomorphology, Digital Mapping and GPS, Thematic Map Compilation, Spatial Analysis and Geo-statistics, Cartographic Design & Compilation, Digital Photogrammetry, Map Projection and Transformation, The Mathematic Model of Cartography, Principle of Spatial Helped Fire Department analyze the issue of closest hydrant using Spatial Analyst in ArcMap, and created informative forms for looking up results. Updated web map with new symbols for report points based on different categories. Worked on Land Change Modeler Application which was a project cooperated with ESRI. Processed data and ran the prediction model to identify land cover change for states in USA. Used Google Maps API to develop a WMA by HTML & CSS & JavaScript. The WMA allowed user to 1) display on-campus points of interest and off-campus facilities, such as academic building, escort service area and nearby food places, 2) search route between on-campus buildings, or from off-campus location to a certain building, 3) click the polygon or type the building name in the search box to query detailed information of on-campus buildings. Developed a new ArcTool that users could use it in ArcMap by python. Wrote scripts based on equation of LMCC and enabled users to select input data (shapefile), xand y variables, spatial weight matrix type and output path.
