I just doublechecked and the version in the >, gallery is Ok. It seems that I made a mistake locally. When I imported your vector-Tux into Sketch the first time I did it via the AI format. I later did it again via CMX. CMX worked much better for this than AI because the AI export filter of corel draw will often split filled bezier-objects into several parts. The CMX filter doesn't do that so the newer version is quite a bi better. The version in the gallery is the CMX one. The first version I sent you was the AI one. I'm not sure I sent you the CMX one later. That might explain the differences between you version and the one in the gallery. Bernhard -- Intevation GmbH Hello, just wanted to share my version of Simon's penguin (Bernhard's .sk file downloaded from the sketch home page). The image is already very good and very close to Larry's drawing, but I always wished the mouth line to be a little bit thinner, so the .sk file came in handy. :-) I changed this and a few other areas to get the facial expression closer to Larry's penguin. Maybe it is of some use to you. Anja Gerwinski (anja@...) wrote: >, just wanted to share my version of Simon's penguin (Bernhard's .sk >, file downloaded from the sketch home page). Maybe it is of some use to you. I took the opportunity to update my page with the penguin to include Anjas variant (thanks!) along with a freshly published 'flat' version of the penguin (for e.g. silk screen printing). When looking at the sketch version of the original version a bit more closely I noticed, that the shadow in the upper part of the eye to the right is a bit weird, probably because there is a blend group from a path with seven nodes to a path with eight nodes. I corrected this error (probably happened at the AI export of Corel Draw or something like that) in the files available now. (I also included my email address as black on black, just that it is in the file :-) Bernhard: Please upgrade the penguin in the gallery to the new version of the penguin, so that the old one does no longer gets distributed from 'official' places :-) Thanks! I just doublechecked and the version in the gallery is Ok. It seems that I made a mistake locally. I will fix my package of penguins instead. Sorry for the fuzz, Simon -- Simon.Budig@...
