Video is the technology of electronically capturing, recording, processing, storing, transmitting, and reconstructing a sequence of still images representing scenes in motion. Scientific visualization is an interdisciplinary branch of science according to Friendly (2008) 'primarily concerned with the visualization of three-dimensional phenomena (architectural, meteorological, medical, biological, etc. ), where the emphasis is on realistic renderings of volumes, surfaces, illumination sources, and so forth, perhaps with a dynamic (time) component'. It is also considered a branch of computer science that is a subset of computer graphics. A scene graph is a general data structure commonly used by vector-based graphics editing applications and modern computer games. Examples of such programs include Acrobat 3D, Adobe Illustrator, AutoCAD, CorelDRAW, OpenSceneGraph, OpenSG, VRML97, and X3D. The scene graph is a structure that arranges the logical and often (but not necessarily) spatial representation of a graphical scene. In scientific visualization and computer graphics, volume rendering is a set of techniques used to display a 2D projection of a 3D discretely sampled data set.
